Education Studies Minor

The minor in Education Studies is intended to provide an option for students wanting to explore professional education. Included in the 18-hour requirement are six hours of College of Education core courses, plus twelve hours of education electives. The minor is open only to students not majoring in a teacher preparation licensure program. All minors must be approved by the Associate Dean in the College of Education or the Chair of Teacher Preparation.

This minor alone does not result in professional teacher licensure through the Arkansas Department of Education without fulfillment of all additional licensure requirements including student teaching.
