Requirements

Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts hours are met within the content of the major:

Six hours of Global Perspectives component are counted below in the hours required for the major.
EDFD 2030 , required in place of PSY 2010 , satisfies three hours of the Individual and the Social Environment component and is counted below in the hours required for the major.

Note:

Students must take any mathematics course numbered MATH 1200 or higher to satisfy three hours of the Natural World component, excluding MATH 1340 , MATH 2131 , MATH 2231 , MATH 2700 , and MATH 2900 .
POLS 1787 is highly recommended to meet three hours of the Individual and Social Environment component.

Major: 32 Hours

Required hours include 20 upper-level hours, of which at least 8 must be 4000-level. Included in the 32 hours Spanish majors must have at least one course in Latin America (SPAN 4110 , SPAN 3150 , or SPAN 3250 ) and one course in Peninsular-based content (SPAN 3040 , SPAN 4010 , SPAN 4020 , SPAN 4350 , or SPAN 4360 ).
