Liberal Arts: 46 Hours
All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:
- KINS 3550 or KINS 3560 satisfies the 1-hour kinesiology activity requirement and is counted below in the hours required for the major.
- KINS 3200 satisfies three hours of the Global Perspectives requirement and is counted below in the hours required for the major.
- EDFD 2030 , required in place of PSY 2010 , satisfies three hours of the Individual and Social Environment component and is counted below in the hours required for licensure.
Notes:
- Students are required to take BIOL 1200 .
- Students must take any mathematics course numbered MATH 1200 or higher to satisfy three hours of the Natural World component, excluding MATH 1340 , MATH 2131 , MATH 2231 , MATH 2700 , and MATH 2900 .
- Majors are strongly encouraged to participate in the major’s club for professional growth.
Major: 33 Hours
Student must provide proof of American Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED training or take HED 2050 , which increases the total hours in the major. Kinesiology Core Classes: 15 hours
