Student must have a 2.50 GPA to enter the degree program and must maintain a 2.50 GPA to graduate from the program. Students who drop below a 2.50 GPA for two consecutive semesters may be dropped from the program.

Depending on career goals, the 13 hours of electives should be carefully selected.

Students must have CPR certification before they can take EXSS 4100 .

For professional growth, majors are strongly encouraged to participate in the major’s club.

Requirements

Liberal Arts: 47 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

Biology and physical science are counted in the hours required for the major.

EXSS 3670 - Professional Internship Credit Hours: 2-3
(must be taken for 2 credit hours to meet program requirements)
EXSS 4090 - Exercise Effects and Prescription for Various Populations Credit Hours: 3
EXSS 4100 - Laboratory Techniques in Exercise Science Credit Hours: 3
