Strength and Conditioning (BSSC), BS/MS

Mission: The mission of this program is to instill essential knowledge, skills, and dispositions for successful careers, and servant leadership in the field of strength & conditioning.

Tracks: There are two tracks students may take to prepare for the Strength and Conditioning (MSSC), MS .

Accelerated This curriculum makes it possible for qualified students to complete both a Bachelor of Science in Strength and Conditioning and a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning in five years. Students will declare Strength and Conditioning as the undergraduate major, complete liberal arts credits and prerequisites during their first three years, and the fourth year begin taking graduate courses to fulfill requirements for the bachelor’s degree. Year four graduate courses will also count toward the master’s degree. Year five will conclude the master’s degree. The two years of graduate courses begin in the fall term; entry is not designed for spring or summer terms. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 in undergraduate coursework to attempt courses in the graduate core.

Traditional Track - Acceptance into the 2-year Strength and Conditioning master’s program involves a secondary application process. See the Strength and Conditioning (MSSC), MS  program for additional information.
