Requirements

Liberal Arts: 47 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts courses are specifically required or met within the content of the major:

EDFD 2030 , required in place of PSY 2010 , is counted below in the hours required for the major.
GEOG 2506 or GEOG 2551 is required and satisfies three hours of the Global Perspectives component.
MATH 1320 or higher is required and satisfies three hours of the Natural World component. MATH 1200 is also required and counted in the major.
PHS 1010 satisfies three hours of the Natural World Component and is counted below in the hours required for the major.

Additional requirement: All education majors (licensure) must pass the appropriate Principles of Learning and Teaching pedagogy exam from Educational Testing Services as a requirement for graduation.
