Requirements

Liberal Arts: 53 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies.

The required 8 hours of textual Bible cannot be used toward the Bible thematic concentration. See the Liberal Arts catalog description for more information about this requirement.

Integrative Studies: 4 Hours

IGST 2500 - Foundations of Integrative Studies Credit Hours: 1
IGST 4500 - Integrative Studies Capstone Credit Hours: 3

Major Thematic Concentration Areas or Minors: 45 Hours

Students must choose 2 or 3 thematic concentrations or university minors to earn at least 45 hours toward this major. Minimum GPA requirement for each thematic concentration or minor is a 2.0. Courses may only be used in either one thematic concentration or minor. This major must include a minimum of 24 upper level credits from the combined core concentration areas. The major should include a minimum of nine 400-level credits from the combined core concentration areas. Exceptions to this guideline may be granted with approval of the dean of University College.
