Dyslexia Endorsement - Special Education (GR)

Requirements

Candidates who are in the M.Ed. in Special Education K-12 program may add this endorsement by satisfactorily completing the 15 hours of courses listed below and passing the Arkansas Department of Education approved Praxis examination. Students should check with their state department of education for specific requirements for licensure and for current required Praxis examination tests. Admission requirements for this endorsement are the same as the Master of Education in Special Education K-12.

• RDNG 6200 - Writing: Theories and Processes Credit Hours: 3
• RDNG 6450 - English Language and Structure for Teachers Credit Hours: 3
• SPED 6300 - Literacy Strategies for Beginning/Emergent Readers Credit Hours: 3
• SPED 6560 - Special Education Practicum and Internship K-12 Credit Hours: 3
