Kinesiology Major (KINS) (Non-Teacher Licensure), BA

Requirements

Liberal Arts: 49 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• KINS 3550  or KINS 3560  satisfies the 1-hour kinesiology activity requirement and is counted below in the hours required for the major.
• KINS 3200  satisfies 3 hours of the Global Perspectives component and is counted below in the hours required for the major.

Required:

• Student is required BIOL 1200 .

Recommendation:

• Majors are strongly encouraged to participate in the major’s club for professional growth.

Major: 28 Hours

Student must demonstrate proficiency in swimming or take KINS 1120  as leveling work, which decreases the hours of electives.

Student must provide proof of American Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED training or take HED 2050 , which decreases the hours of electives.
