Requirements

Liberal Arts: 53 Hours

Required:

• Student must take either BMIS 3000  or BMIS 3020  to meet 3 hours of required the Global Perspectives component.
• ECON 2010  is required in the Business core.

Recommended:

• MATH 1200  is strongly recommended to prepare for BUS 3265 .

Business Administration Core: 41 Hours

All Bachelor of Business Administration degree (B.B.A.) majors require a uniform Business Core of 41 hours. ECON 2010 ** does satisfy 3 hours of the Liberal Arts program, and is counted above. The purpose of the core is to provide understanding of a generally recognized common body of knowledge in business. The Business Core consists of:

• ACCT 2050 - Financial Accounting Credit Hours: 3
• ACCT 2060 - Managerial Accounting Credit Hours: 3
• *  BUS 3265 - Quantitative Business Analysis Credit Hours: 3
• BUS 3170 - Legal Environment of Business Credit Hours: 3
• BUS 3500 - Business Communications Credit Hours: 3
• BUS 4350 - Christian Business Ethics Credit Hours: 2 or 3

• (2 credit hours meets the major requirement.)

• ECON 2010 - Macroeconomics Credit Hours: 3

• (Credit hours for this course are counted in the Liberal Arts.)

• ECON 2020 - Microeconomics Credit Hours: 3
• FIN 3430 - Managerial Finance Credit Hours: 3
• IS 2400 - Data Management Credit Hours: 3
• IS 2500 - Management Information Systems Credit Hours: 3
• MGT 3540 - Productions/Operations Management Credit Hours: 3
• MGT 3680 - Management and Organizational Behavior Credit Hours: 3
• MGT 4300 - Strategic Policy Credit Hours: 3
• MKTG 2400 - Principles of Marketing Credit Hours: 3

International Business Requirements: 30 Hours

• 6 hours of one modern foreign language (or demonstrated proficiency)

• IB 3950 - International Marketing Credit Hours: 3
• IB 4010 - Intercultural Business Leadership Credit Hours: 3

Graduate Credit Note(s):

Up to 12 hours of graduate credit in the Management and Business Ethics (MBA)   or Information Systems (MSIS)  graduate programs may be used to satisfy the requirements for the BBA.
