Requirements

Students seeking teaching licensure must follow eligibility criteria for admission and retention listed in the Cannon-Clary College of Education section of the undergraduate catalog.

Liberal Arts: 44 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• Three hours of the Creative Spirit in the Liberal Arts Program  requirements are met within the major and counted below. ENG 2010  or ENG 2020  is required.
• THEA 3060   satisfies three hours of the Global Perspectives requirements in the Liberal Arts and is counted below in the major.
• EDFD 2030 , is required in place of PSY 2010  in the Individual and Social Environment component and is counted below in the hours required for licensure.

Recommended:

• ANTH 2500 , GEOG 2506 /GEOG 2551 , or POLS 2100  is recommended for the remaining Global Perspectives requirement.
