Requirements

Liberal Arts: 46 Hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• KINS 3550  or KINS 3560  satisfies the 1-hour kinesiology activity requirement and is counted below in the hours required for the major.
• KINS 3200  satisfies 3 hours of the Global Perspectives requirement and is counted below in the hours required for the major.
• EDFD 2030 , required in place of PSY 2010 , is counted below in the hours required for licensure.

Required:

• Student is required to take BIOL 1200  and MATH 1330 .

Recommended:

• Majors are strongly encouraged to participate in the major’s club for professional growth.

Student must demonstrate proficiency in swimming or take KINS 1120  as leveling work, which increases the total hours in the major.

Student must provide proof of American Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED training or take HED 2050 , which increases the total hours in the major.
