Requirements

Students seeking teaching licensure must follow eligibility criteria for admission and retention listed in the Cannon-Clary College of Education  section.

Liberal Arts: 44 hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

• Three hours of the Creative Spirit in the Liberal Arts Program  requirements are met within the major and counted below. ENG 201  or ENG 202  is required.
• THEA 306   satisfies three hours of the Global Perspectives requirements in the Liberal Arts and is counted below in the major.
• EDFD 203  is required in place of PSY 201  in the Individual and Social Environment component and is counted below in the hours required for licensure.
