Program Learning Outcomes  

Liberal Arts: 47 hours

All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts  studies. The following liberal arts requirements are met  within the content of the major.

• Three hours of the Creative Spirit component are met within the content of the major and counted below. ENG 201  or ENG 202  is required to complete the Creative Spirit component.
• THEA 306   is required and counted below in the Theatre Core, and three hours of the Global Perspectives Liberal Arts requirements are met.

Minor: 18 hours

• Students choosing the Costume Design concentration are encouraged to minor in art or family and consumer sciences.
• Students choosing the Lighting/Sound concentration are encouraged to minor in communication or music.
• Students choosing the Production concentration are encouraged to minor in management.
• Students choosing the Set Design concentration are encouraged to minor in art.
