Apparel Merchandising Major (AMER), BS


The apparel and textile industry is one of the largest employers in the nation. Fashion merchandising includes a study of product planning, development, marketing, and fashion merchandising consumer targeted goods for profit in a competitive market. The field seeks people who have knowledge of the fast-paced fashion world, and who also possess keen business skills. Graduates are in high demand and have excellent advancement opportunities.

Requirements


Program Learning Outcomes  

Liberal Arts: 41 Hours


All majors at Harding are required to complete 53 hours of Liberal Arts studies. The following Liberal Arts requirements are met within the content of the major:

Major: 75 Hours


This major includes an embedded minor in marketing which will be reflected on the academic transcript.

Apparel Merchandising Core: 69 Hours


Remaining Bible/Electives: 12 Hours
