Students who hold an educationally related master’s degree from a regionally accredited university and an Arkansas teaching license may add this endorsement by satisfactorily completing the 30 hours of reading courses listed below and by passing the Praxis II Reading Specialist Exam. Students not teaching in Arkansas should check with their state department of education for specific requirements for licensure.

Admission requirements for this endorsement are the same as the Master of Education in Reading.
