Students who hold an Arkansas Teaching License with four years of licensed experience may add this endorsement by satisfactorily completing the 19 hours of Curriculum Program Administrator: Special Education Endorsement courses listed below, orally defending a professional portfolio, and passing the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA) approved by the Arkansas Department of Education. Admission requirements for this endorsement are the same as the Master of Education in Educational Leadership.

SPED 623 - Interdisciplinary Planning and Methods for Working with Students with Exceptionalities Credit Hours: 3
SPED 677 - Legal and Ethical Issues in Special Education Credit Hours: 3
