TRIO Upward Bound

TRIO Upward Bound reinforces academic skills and generates the personal motivation to complete a college education. The program is designed to improve high school performance and graduate rates as well as the rate at which students enroll in and graduate from a college of their choice. Harding’s Upward Bound program is funded to serve 65 high school students within White and Woodruff counties. Specific school districts served during the 2012-2017 grant cycle: Augusta, Bald Knob, McCrory, Pangburn, Riverview, Searcy, and White County Central.
