IS 6530 - Data Quality and Preparation for Analytics

Students will explore information quality concepts and learn to identify possible data quality issues when formulating data analytic problems and preparing data for analytic processes. Understanding data and data quality issues in regard to analytics play a key role in pre-processing data in preparation for analytics. This includes data cleaning, variable transformation, and addressing missing values.

Prerequisite(s): IS 6520 

Credit Hours: 3
