IS 4300 - Data Analytics

Students will gain knowledge of business analytics using the R programming language. A foundational coverage of R is presented along with basics of how the tool applies statistical concepts such as probability, inference, regression, and machine learning. Students will develop skills that include R programming, data wrangling with dplyr, data visualization with ggplot2, and reproducible document preparation with RStudio.

Prerequisite(s): IS 2100  or IS 3800  or COMP 1500  or IS 6350 

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Spring
