SPED 6720 - Curriculum and Instruction for the Gifted and Talented This course stresses the principles of differentiated curriculum design and how to plan lessons, units and courses of study. Sound program planning, instructional methods and strategies, and materials to meet the special education needs of gifted and talented students will be addressed, along with appropriate assessment and evaluation strategies. Two units of instruction appropriate for gifted and talented learners will be developed throughout this course. NOTE: This course is a prerequisite for SPED 6790 and these units will be used in completing SPED 6790 .
