BMIN 5875 - Ministry Roles and Relationships This course helps participants engage their ministries in the complex matrix of roles, responsibilities and relationships. This includes church governance and multi-staff church ministry in the Stone-Campbell tradition. The course also considers issues of gender and diversity in church and para-church settings. A good portion of the class covers best practices in traditional congregational responsibilities such as pastoral care and administration, and practical concerns such as candidating, ministry finances, etc. Course substitution option: Students with substantial ministry experience (including minister, elder, deacon, etc.) or undergraduate equivalent coursework, may substitute another non-required ministry course with permission of the director of field education.
Credit Hours: 3
Term Offered: See annual schedule published in April.
