IS 6350 - Database Management Systems

This course examines the use and impact of database technologies and database design principles. Practical skills attained during this course of study include effective use of: Database concepts, Structured Query Language, the relational model and normalization, Database design, database redesign, managing databases and database processing. Finally, consideration is given to no-sql database concepts.

Prerequisite(s): IS 6050 , IS 6300  

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Spring, Summer
