MENG 2250 - Statics

Analysis of forces applied to rigid bodies in static equilibrium. Topics include force vectors, equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies, structural analysis, distributed forces, friction, center of gravity, moments of inertia. This class may give exams outside of regularly scheduled class hours.

Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment or credit in MATH 3300  and PHYS 2110/2110L    

Credit Hours: 2
