UNIV 1030 - Foundations of Algebra

This course is designed to provide a strong foundation in algebra. Topics include linear equations and inequalities, systems of linear equations, integer exponents, polynomial operations, linear and quadratic functions, and factoring. This course does not count as the mathematics Liberal Arts requirement, or toward a major or minor in mathematics.

Prerequisite: A math ACT score of 16-18; or 420-500 on the Math SAT.

Requires corequisite of UNIV 0985  

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Fall, Spring
