ENG 0990 - Basic English

The course is required for students who have no credit in college composition and who scored 18 or below on the ACT English Examination or whose SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score is 500 or below must enroll in ENG 0990 before taking ENG 1110 or ENG 1130. Successful completion of the course is a prerequisite for entry into ENG 1110  / ENG 1130 .

ENG 0990 does not count as college credit, but it is included in GPA calculations and counts toward athletic eligibility and financial aid eligibility.
