ENG 355 - Advanced Screenwriting for Film

Students will learn how to develop fundamental components of a feature film screenplay, including outline, treatment, beat-sheet, log-line, and first act. Students will analyze classic and contemporary screenplays for plotting, narrative arc, dialogue, editing, and structure. The class will use a workshop format for the drafting and analysis of scripts.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): ENG 314 .

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Spring of odd years
