MUS 172 - Theory and Ear Training II

A continuation of MUS 171 . Fundamentals of part writing, choral arranging, organizational patterns, forms, music reading, and aural exercises utilizing traditional classroom instruction and computer laboratory applications. Meets five hours per week. Minimum grade of “C” required for advancement within the theory sequence.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: MUS 171 ; successful completion of aural skills proficiency.

Credit Hours: 4
