ENG 099 - Basic English

The course is required for students who have no credit in college composition and who scored 18 or below on the ACT English Examination or whose SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score is 500 or below must enroll in ENG 099 before taking ENG 111 or ENG 113. Successful completion of the course is a prerequisite for entry into ENG 111  / ENG 113 .

ENG 099 does not count as college credit, but it is included in GPA calculations and counts toward athletic eligibility and financial aid eligibility.
