ENG 100 - Basic English

The course is required for students who have no credit in college composition and who scored 18 or below on the ACT English Examination or whose SAT critical reading score is 24 or below (440 or below on the SAT critical reading exam prior to March 2016) must enroll in ENG 100 before taking ENG 111 or ENG 113. Successful completion of the course is a prerequisite for entry into ENG 111  / ENG 113 .

ENG 100 does not count as college credit, but it is included in GPA calculations and counts toward athletic eligibility and financial aid eligibility.
