Working from a basis in oral language, theories and processes of writing, stages of writing development, handwriting techniques, and creative writing will be emphasized. In addition, teacher candidates will be given opportunities through both text and modeling to become familiar with assessments that are commonly given in the elementary classroom. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Admitted to Teacher Education Program.
