ENGR 489 - Engineering Ethics and Professionalism Introduction to ethics pertaining to the engineering profession from the perspective of a Christian. Topics include modern ethical theories, moral reasoning, codes of ethics, honesty, integrity, responsibility, environmental ethics, and Christian ethics. Also, introduction to professionalism in engineering. Topics include licensure, continuing education, and professional development. Students are required to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) offered by the Arkansas State Board of Licensure prior to or during the semester the course is taken. The FE exam is offered in August and April each year. Students must register to take the April exam by the January 1 prior and the August exam by the July 1 prior.
