IS 270 - Web Concepts

This course examines the use and impact of information communication technologies in today’s world. Implications for management are considered. Topics include Web design, search engines, Web 2 applications, the deep Web, Peer-2-Peer, intranets, extranets, and security. Web design and development skills taught include HTML, CSS, XHTML, XML, Dreamweaver and Flash.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): COMP 150  and IS 200  are strongly recommended.

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Fall, Spring
