EDFD 315 - Education Law and Ethics Survey of statutes and cases related to education and how they relate to personal and professional ethical decision making in education settings. This course will use Biblical passages and principles to explore appropriate Christian ethical responses within the legal landscape in education. Specific topics this course will explore include but are not limited to tort law, freedom of speech and expression, curriculum, attendance, disability laws, religious expression, contracts and tenure, federal regulations, and ethics laws. All topics address the intersection of community values statues, case law, and personal ethical decision making.
