ECED 317 - Assessment in Early Childhood


This course addresses the administration, scoring, and interpretation of various formal and informal assessments used to measure the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development of young children. Teacher candidates will be given opportunities through both text and modeling to become familiar with assessments that are commonly given in the early childhood classroom.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Admitted to Teacher Education Program.
