COUN 600 - Practical use of the DSM

Use of the DSM-IV-TR for use in description and treatment of psychopathological disorders as a diagnostic tool. Emphasis is on effective use of treatment plans for practical application in the counseling setting. This course can be used to meet the prerequisite for the counseling program and may also be used in fulfillment of requirements for the Arkansas Board of Examining in Counseling.

Credit Hours: 3

Term Offered: Spring, Summer
