AMST 3009 - Foundations of the American Republic


An exploration of historic and cultural sites, as well as readings, that showcase major characteristics in the development of American culture and institutions. Ideals and forces such as faith, enterprise, the frontier, and self-government are studied and integrated as foundational to the establishment of the American Republic. Students participate in a multi-state tour with faculty.
