BIOL 259 - Cell BiologyMolecular mechanisms of eukaryotic cell function. Detailed discussion of the structure, function, and biogenesis of subcellular organelles with a focus on understanding how cellular structure and function arise as a result of the properties of cellular macromolecules; 3-D folding, function and regulation of proteins and enzymes; membrane structure; cell cycle control; cytoskeleton assembly and function; cell-cell communication and cell-cell adhesions.
