ART 251 - Basic Type Design


Formation and manipulation of individual letter forms as the basis for typographic communication. Studio work in rendering type by hand and on the computer. Fostering of fundamental knowledge of the aesthetics of type as a visual carrier of meaning.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: 103 and 220 or con­sent of the instructor.
