COUN 657 - Introduction to Equine Assisted Therapy


An overview of the introductory principles of Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) as a psychotherapeutic and learning tool to address behavioral, emotional, and relational issues within individual, family, and/or group counseling sessions. This course may be used as part of the focus in Rehabilitation Counseling.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Educational Specialist in Professional Counseling: Clinical and School program or permission of the director.
