COUN 607 - Crisis Intervention Counseling


Study and practice in understanding crisis theory and crisis-induced dysfunctional behavior, crisis situations, and crisis intervention approaches to help clients, students, and personnel in emotional crises return to a state of cognitive, affective and behavioral equilibrium and functional coping.

Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Science in Professional Counseling: Clinical and School or the Educational Specialist in Professional Counseling: Clinical and School program or permission of the director.
