COUN 603 - Acquiring Clinical JudgmentCase conceptualization skills as used in mental health counseling. Includes diagnosing, eligibility intervention strategies, treatment planning, and case monitoring, among others. Focus is on the ability to apply this knowledge to different populations and different types of treatment settings. Educational, social, and psychological developmental needs are addressed. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisite: Admission to the Master of Science in Professional Counseling: Clinical and School or the Educational Specialist in Professional Counseling: Clinical and School program or permission of the director.
