COUN 605 - Career CounselingStudies theories of career and lifestyle development, counseling approaches, ethical issues and applications to the diversity of work settings. Addresses lifespan career program planning, changing roles of men and women, dual-career families and decision-making theories. Includes interrelationship of work, family and leisure along with relevant assessment instruments, career counseling resources and information systems, as well as major issues that impact career choices and work settings such as family issues, mobility of people and work settings and other relevant concerns.
